ThreatSwitch was acquired by Sign In Solutions, a global provider of cloud-based visitor management and risk mitigation software. Backed by PSG, a leading growth equity firm, the acquisition will support Sign In Solutions’ commitment to advancing its Visitor Management 2.0 vision.

John started his career at the CIA, where he was an Analyst and Graduate fellow focused on nuclear proliferation and nuclear security. His 20+ year career in security and intelligence includes time as an intelligence officer in the US Navy Reserve – where he was a unit security manager – and a stint as an FSO for his cleared company. He is also a Founder of Big Sky, a consulting and training firm that specializes in security, insider threat, and counterintelligence.

John has been recognized as a Distinguished Young Alumnus of the University of South Carolina, presented the US Army Commander’s Award for Public Service, and named to Charlotte’s 40 under 40

Working at Sign In Enterprise for over 6 years starting in the Customer Success department, Ryan has been part of the evolution of visitor management. Now he uses his customer centric approach to help shape the development of the SIE platform as we move into VM 2.0.
